Thank you, Everett for your generosity during the annual Stuff a Bus campaign!Volunteers collected more than $33,500 worth of food, goods, toys, and cash donations outside of the Fred Meyer at Murphy’s Corner. Donations of food and goods totaled 10,115 lbs., and toy donations totaled 3,390 lbs.Our partners at Volunteers of America Western Washington and Amalgamated Transit Union Local 883, the union representing Everett Transit operators, were instrumental in making this year’s campaign a success.
With the closure of Fred Meyer at Evergreen Way and Casino Road, we're providing transit information for nearby grocery stores, pharmacies, and other retail options. We know this store has been an important resource for many families in South Everett. The City of Everett will continue working with community partners to connect residents with resources and support during this transition.
To ensure access to important shopping destinations following the closure of Fred Meyer, Everett Transit is operating Route 12 fare free through April 20, 2026.
For a limited time, Everett Transit is providing a fare-free shuttle running between Everett Mall Station and Walmart. The shuttle is available seven days a week. For a detailed schedule, visit our shuttle page.
